Atropine Eye Drops

Atropine eye drops have been around for more than 100 years and have been used in Taiwan and East Asia since 1997 to prevent or slow down the progression of myopia. At a low dose of 0.01%, Atropine has been shown to successfully slow down the progression of myopia in comparison to placebo groups. Atropine eye drops are very effective for children that do a lot of near work especially the amount of computer usage that is required of them at school.
